The Village is a group mentorship program helping young professionals step into their future with confidence and community.

Founded by Zuri Godfrey, a Howard University alum with 40K+ followers on LinkedIn and a current leader at Meta, The Village is rooted in Development, Networking, and Accountability (DNA). The program supports college students and recent graduates as they transition into careers at top companies like Google, YouTube, Adobe, and the NFL.

Our goal was to create a brand identity that matched the energy of the program itself: bold, inspiring, and full of possibility. Inspired by Zuri’s HBCU background, we incorporated rich red and blue tones to subtly nod to Howard University, while softening the palette to feel more modern, inviting, and easy on the eyes.

We crafted a playful and colorful visual system that sparks excitement while still feeling intentional and refined. The logo, color palette, and typography were all designed to reflect movement, momentum, and growth.

From the dynamic website to the digital materials used within each six-month cohort, every touchpoint was designed to make mentees feel supported, empowered, and proud to be part of something bigger.

The Village isn’t just about professional development, it’s about building legacy, one bold career at a time.
